BlogBrain Ops: Proposal for a Semi-automatic Social Web Mining and Cyberinfluence Decisionsupport Tool for Info Ops Teams

Abstract—In this article, the author is proposing to develop BlogBrain Ops, a novel semi-automatic, Social Web cyberinfluence decision-making tool for 21st century Info Ops teams in the Social Internet age. Using visual analytics, computational social network analysis, opinion mining and sentiment analysis, captology and other methods and techniques, the tool will provide its operators with the kind of ‘Social Web Situation Awareness’ intelligence that is needed to inform and guide the design and deployment of suitable online Info Ops responses (cyberinfluence interventions) that achieve maximum impact.
